Atlantic Matala Mat Kit - For PS7000 Skimmer
This Matala Mat and included support frame is an accessory to the Atlantic Big Bahama Skimmer (PS7000). Inserted into the skimmer (behind its net and brushes), the mat provides extra mechanical filtration that helps prevent finer debris from getting into the skimmer suction line and up to the above ground pump. This mat is reusable and can be easily hosed/wiped off when it becomes clogged with debris.
Atlantic Replacement Matala Mat - For PS7000
This is a replacement Mat for use in the Atlantic Water Gardens Big Bahama Pond Skimmer (model PS7000). Please note: The support frame needed to hold this mat up within the skimmer is not included with this replacement mat.
This mat is reusable and can be easily hosed/wiped off when it becomes clogged with debris.

Skimmer Suction Assembly 1-1/2 inch
Use this plumbing assembly to connect your above ground pump to your pond skimmer (via an 1- 1/2" rigid or flexible PVC suction line).
Complete with a frog guard suction strainer, gate valve, 1-1/2" PVC bulkhead fitting and threaded male adapters, this plumbing assembly attaches to your plumbing's suction line and through the side of the skimmer. The basket strainer helps prevent clogs in the suction line from leaves and trapped frogs, while the gate valve allows you to temporarily shut off suction to the skimmer while performing routine maintenance such as emptying the skimmer net or hosing off the skimmer filter pad. This plumbing assembly is designed to fit inside most larger skimmer enclosures, such as the Atlantic Big Bahama 7000 Skimmer. Entire assembly measures 16"-18" in length.
Note: If your skimmer suction pipe/tube is 2" in diameter, you will need to add a 2" x 1-1/2" reducer fitting between your suction line and the 1-1/2" male adapter that is included as part of this assembly.
